Our Care Team
We employ all of our care givers directly and we never use agency staff. All of our office team are trained care givers as well, so you can rest assured that you will be receiving professional care and support from someone who has passed all of our training, recruitment and selection checks.
Every employee of Haslemere Homecare is fully vetted and insured to work in our service user’s homes. To ensure that we provide a high quality care workforce the standards for managers and our caregivers are based on the National Occupational Standards for the Care Insdustry. Our induction programme is combined with The Care Certificate which was developed jointly by Health Education England, skills for Health and Skills for Care.
Achievement of the Certificate through Induction training ensures that care workers have the required values, behaviour, competence and skills to provide high quality, compassionate care.
We strongly encourage staff development and many of care givers have achieved additional qualifications in Health and Social care, including: NVQs and diplomas levels 2, 3, 4, and 5, Palliative care levels 2 and 3, and Dementia Care Levels 2 and 3.
We are extremely proud of our team here at Haslemere Homecare, many of our team are individual finalists at the Surrey Care Awards as well as achieving company/team placements.
