We strongly encourage staff development and many of our carers have achieved additional qualifications in Health and Social care, including: NVQs and Diplomas levels 2, 3, 4, and 5, Palliative care levels 2 and 3, and Dementia Care Levels 2 and 3.
We are extremely proud of all of our care team, many of which have been individual finalists in the Surrey Care Awards, as well as achieving company and team placements.
We employ all of our carers directly and we never use agency staff.
All of our office team are trained carers as well, so you can rest assured that you will be receiving professional care and support from someone who has passed all of our training, recruitment and selection checks. Not forgetting the most important test – “The parent test” We never employ anybody who we wouldn’t want to care for our own parents!
To ensure that we provide a high quality care workforce the standards for managers and our carers are based on the National Occupational Standards for the Care Industry. Our in house induction programme is combined with The Care Certificate which was developed jointly by Health Education England, Skills for Health and Skills for Care.
Achievement of the Care Certificate through Induction training ensures that our staff have the required values, behaviour, competence and skills to provide high quality, compassionate care.
