Looking for a Home Care provider in the Alton area?
If you’re looking for a Home Care Services provider in or near Alton in Hampshire, we are perfectly placed to help.
We have an impressive reputation for home care provision in the area, and we are also proudly independent and well established, helping people throughout Alton as well as nearby towns and villages such as Holybourne, Four Marks and Bentley, providing customised care and companionship for adults in their own homes.
Many of our Home Care team members have been individual finalists regional Care Awards, and have achieved company and team placements- so we are very proud of them! You can also be assured that any prospective staff members undergo rigorous enhanced criminal records checks and protection of vulnerable adult checks before they join our team.
There is one test that sums up our approach to vetting staff looking to join us – “The parent test”. In other words, we would never employ someone who we wouldn’t want to care for our own parents!
So, we employ all of our carers directly rather than using agency staff. We continually monitor the performance of our team members and make sure to keep their training up to date, so those all-important skills remain relevant. We therefore ensure that you receive the highest quality care from all our team members.
We also have a Family portal which records what our staff have been doing during their visits to your home. This is a secure and GDPR compliant system which allows Family members and appropriate health care professionals like your GP to access your care plan in real time.
Recognising that you may need support with your personal care and daily living can be a difficult decision to make. Concerns about loss of independence or privacy are understandable. We always respect your needs and dignity and only provide services which you specifically requested in your care and support plan. As a result, you can remain as independent as possible in the peace and comfort of your own home.
“Dear Lisa,
I can’t believe I haven’t contacted you before to thank you for the exemplary care you give my Mum, Maggie Craig. This week has been particularly challenging for the team, especially Sam, Lisa-Marie, Kerry, Chloe G, Renee, Amy and Charlotte – who have been amazing.
I do however want to give some well deserved praise to Sam. I can’t believe how empathetic and brilliant she is with Mum, whilst being so professional and anticipating what is required before being asked. She is so a brilliant communicator, with us as a family and with Mum; this is such a skill! Of course, she is also so patient, understanding and expert in interpreting Mum’s every need. She always goes above and beyond and is valued by us all.
Having said that, every member of your team that attend here are fantastic, enormously kind and enhance Mum’s life every single day.
Many thanks again
Kind regards
Cathy”

The Client Coordinator will come to your house and meet with you and your family to discuss your requirements and how we can help you. This normally takes around an hour. You will discuss things like, allergies, medications, preferred times, GP details as well as your likes and dislikes. Your hobbies and interests. Invoicing & funding details will also be obtained. You will also be left with our brochure so you can take time to think things over.
Plan Your Care Package Within 48 Hours
Once you have had your assessment and have confirmed you wish to start, our Client Coordinators will create your plan and let you know when we can start. We aim to start all our care packages within 48hrs, however we can be flexible if that’s too soon. Inside your plan you will have all the details about you which you have provided to us, as well as all the details about us, this will include all our contact details – Office telephone number, on call out of hours number and company email addresses and access details to the Family portal.
